No one should be above the law, including the President. However, the Supreme Court ruling provides such broad immunity it in essence nullifies the laws of the United States. Hence the Asterisk burned into the Constitution.
Citation & Attribution:
Aged, yellowed parchment paper with the United States Constitution's title, "We the People," prominently displayed in elegant, handwritten calligraphy, on a slanted, ornate platform with subtle, golden accents. A small, maximum six-pointed asterisk, about one inch in diameter, is precisely burned through the center of the document, with delicate, wispy tendrils of smoke rising from the charred edges. The surrounding parchment is slightly singed and darkened, as if the flames had begun to spread. At the bottom of the image, in a simple, yet bold font, the text reads: "*presidents have absolute immunity for acts committed as president within their core constitutional purview, at least presumptive immunity for official acts within the outer perimeter of their official responsibility..."
